OSSLT (Ontario Literacy)

The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) measures whether or not students are meeting the minimum standard for literacy across all subjects up to the end of Grade 10. Successful completion of the literacy test is one of the graduation requirements to earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

All students across the province write this test on the same date.

The OSSLT can be arranged for mature students who would like to meet the Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements.

Alternatively, students registered in Adult Education can select to take the Ontario Literacy Course (OLC4O) to meet the Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirement.

Students who are registered with us at Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre can call Oshawa 905-438-0570 or Ajax 905-683-7713 for more information; and visit the OSSLT testing website.
