Microsoft Office Specialist Training Program (MOS) 

Fall/Winter Session: BTA3O

Dates: October 3, 2022 - January 16, 2023  CANCELLED

Times: Mondays and Wednesdays (5:30 - 9:00 pm)

Note: There will be no classes December 27 & 28 or January 2 & 4.

 

Winter/Spring Session: BDP3O

Dates: February 22 - June 5, 2023

Times: Mondays and Wednesdays (5:30 - 9:00 pm)

There will be no classes on March Break (March 13 and 15), Easter Monday (April 10) or Victoria Day (May 22).

 

Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Training:

  • Microsoft Word (Core), Microsoft Word (Expert)
  • Microsoft Excel (Core) Microsoft Excel (Expert)  
  • Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Access

** You can choose the areas of Microsoft Office that you would like to work on. 
** Work at your own pace with support from a qualified instructor.

Students will be contacted by their teacher regarding programming at the Oshawa Campus - 850 King St. W., Unit 26, Oshawa.

Program:

  • Preparation for Microsoft Office Certification
  • All courses are hands-on with support from an instructor
  • Students can download MS Office for home practice
  • Students can earn credits toward OSSD while working on Microsoft Office Certification Training
  • Students are asked to inform the school if they intend to write the Microsoft certification exam

Material Fees:

Electronic support materials: $45 each OR Hardcopy support materials: $100 each

Microsoft Office Exam Certification: For students who would like to write the Microsoft Office exam for certification, there is a cost for the exam process.

  • Durham Catholic District School Board reserves the right to close any class. If a class is closed or cancelled because minimum enrolment is not met, a full refund will be given.
  • Any books or materials issued to students will be deducted from the overall program cost.
  • Personal cheques are not accepted.
