Ajax Adult Day Credit Courses

Registration

New students must complete the Adult Day School Registration Form and upload a piece of Photo ID before selecting courses.  Your course selection will not be accepted until you fill out the Adult Day School Registration Form.

Registration for Semester Two classes is now closed; however, students may still register for the Fast Track Program.  Please complete the registration form above and email cont.ed@dcdsb.ca to book a Guidance or PLAR appointment.

Semester 3 Course Selection (January 24 to April 4)

For help selecting your courses, book a Guidance or PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) appointment by email cont.ed@dcdsb.ca or call 905-683-7713.  

Students who register for Adult Day School will receive more information about their first day of class by email.  Please ensure you are checking your email, including junk mail, before the first day of class.

If you cannot find a course that you need, book an appointment to speak with a Guidance Counsellor or PLAR assessor.  

Ajax Campus Day School Courses 2021-2022

Each Semester will begin with an orientation week.  You will receive communication from the school with more information about when you can come to campus and meet with your teacher.

 Semester 1 (September 8 - November 8)

 Period 1 (In-School Day Monday)

*Orientation for Period 1 is Wednesday, September 8 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Last Name A- L) and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Last Name M-Z).  Following orientation, in-school days for Period 1 will be each Monday.

Period 2 (In-School Day Tuesday)

*Orientation for Period 2 is Thursday, September 9 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Last Name A- L) and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Last Name M-Z).  Following orientation, in-school days for Period 2 will be each Tuesday.

Period 3 (In-School Day Wednesday)

  • Ontario Literacy Course - English for the Workplace (OLC4O)
  • Mathematics for Work and Everyday Life 11 Workplace (MEL3E)
  • Mathematics for Work and Everyday Life 12 Workplace (MEL4E)

11:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday - Friday): GWL3O and Personal Wellness (College Credit & High School Credit).  Students must be approved by a guidance counsellor to register for the Adult Dual Credit Program.
