Durham Catholic students with exceptional needs are participating in Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre’s Culinary Skills summer program. The summer classes are designed to strengthen students’ literacy and communication skills, while building numeracy skills.

Last week, students participated in a “Kitchen Tool Matchup Literacy Activity” which involved matching pictures of kitchen tools and equipment with the names and definitions or sentences explaining how to us the tool or equipment.
