As part of Summer School programming and in partnership with EF Educational Tours, Travel for Credit course options are available to secondary school students across the board. When enrolling in a Travel for Credit course, students in the Durham Catholic District School Board will have the unique opportunity to earn academic credits through a combination of traditional and experiential learning. Students will complete a part of their learning in-person and continue their instruction while traveling under the supervision of the teacher hired by the board.
An information session will be held for interested DCDSB students and their parents/guardians on Wednesday, October 21 for the France trip. Students who are currently in grades 10 and 11 are welcome to attend.

Step One:
Students must complete the registration form that will be provided by the Travel for Credit teacher. Submit a copy of the registration form to your Guidance Department for approval. You will also require an Administrator's signature. The signed form can be sent to us by email: credit.reg@dcdsb.ca
Step Two:
Once the registration form has been received, parents/guardians can complete the EF Tour registration.

March 2027 - Athens, Florence and Rome (LLV4U) - FULL
Durham Catholic District School Board's Continuing Education school is excited to share an upcoming opportunity for students to earn a Grade 12 University credit (LLV4U) while exploring Italy and Greece during the 2027 March Break, in partnership with Explorica Tours.

Students registered in the program will earn a Grade 12 University credit - Classical Civilization (LLV4U). The program is open to DCDSB students who are in Grade 11 or 12.
Early bird pricing is available until June 1, 2026.
Students in the program will be required to attend night school sessions prior to March Break 2027. More details will be shared soon.
