Student Testimonials:

“My experience with the correspondence program was really positive. When I first met with the guidance counsellor, I didn’t realize I had so little left to complete my diploma. They made me feel a lot more confident about finishing, which honestly meant a lot to me. It was also really nice being able to work at my own pace. The flexibility made it much easier to stay motivated and actually get everything done without feeling overwhelmed. The courses I took were clear and easy to follow, and I found the expectations consistent across them. Whenever I needed help, the communication and feedback were helpful and came in a good amount of time. Even though it was correspondence, I still felt supported throughout. Overall, this program/school played a big role in helping me finish my high school diploma, and I’m truly grateful for the experience.” - Breanna B.

"I finished high school without knowing what I wanted to do in post-secondary. DCDSB adult education gave me an opportunity to upgrade and take my prerequisite courses.  With my supportive teachers, counsellors and staff, I was able to get into University. My message to students is to persevere, always remember your goal, and make it your inspiration."  -John B.
