Summer C-AMP (Clinic for the Arts and Media Program) will provide current Grade 6 to Grade 8 students with an opportunity to strengthen literacy skills and experience areas of the Arts offered through the All Saints Catholic Secondary School's Regional Arts and Media Program. This is a non-credit program.
During C-AMP students will receive a rich and varied arts intensive experience while strengthening literacy and communication skills.
Summer C-AMP will be offered in a Remote Learning (online) Format.
Experiential learning camps "enhance the already rich learning environments of our schools, providing students with alternative ways of engaging their learning." Through the Experiential Learning Cycle students will actively participate, reflect and apply their learning. "The development of a reflective mindset gives students the ability to turn every experience into a learning experience." Community- Connected Experiential Learning, Ministry of Education, pages 8 & 9.
This program is available for current Grade 6 to Grade 8 students.

Dance C-AMP |
The Dance C-AMP is a creative outlet that will explore several genres of dance. The camp will include learning and creating choreography as well as exploring the Elements of Dance in a variety of ways. It is a high energy and movement camp that is an opportunity for all dance levels. |
Instrumental Music C-AMP - Learn the Ukulele |
Students are invited to experience this captivating week-long music camp. All experience backgrounds and abilities are welcome as we collaborate in the art of music making. Students will enjoy learning and performing chords and notated melodies on the ukulele. Repertoire will consist of popular music selections as well as explore traditional ukulele pieces and technique. Ukuleles will be provided for those who do not own their own. Please note that the student, along with their parent/guardian, must complete a ukulele rental agreement form to accompany the registration and return the completed form to cont.ed@dcdsb.ca.

If you are interested in learning more about the art of acting, singing, and how to put it all together for music theatre, then the Regional Arts & Media Program Musical Theatre C-AMP is for you! Students will learn about acting for music theatre, will create a character from a script, and then perform that character! Students will also learn about singing a song for musical theatre, select a song, and perform it. This C-AMP will not only be a lot of fun, but will also provide students with the tools necessary for an audition for a musical, play, or choir, all the while building valuable literacy and self-confidence skills! |
Visual Arts C-AMP - Design |
This C-AMP offers students instruction on the elements of design and how they could be applied to create effective artwork. We will provide students with a sketchbook, sketching pencils, eraser, coloured pencils, a pad of construction paper (could be substituted with plain white printer paper), scissors, 6x6 art board and glue stick.
