Celebrating the Love of Cooking

Students in Grades 7 and 8 enroled in the Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre’s Cooking Camp celebrated the end of camp by hosting a buffet lunch on Friday, July 14, 2017. Using their numeracy skills, students doubled and tripled recipes to prepare a three-course lunch which included a salad with balsamic vingerette, pasta with parmesan chicken, garlic bread and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

“I never realized how much Math was involved in cooking,” said David, student enroled in the Cooking Camp. “This camp is great and I like eating the food!”
