Learning French at DCDSB’s Summer Language Program

Posted On Wednesday July 10, 2019

Our Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre offers a variety of summer programs to help keep student engaged in learning over the summer. One program is the French language classes for student currently enrolled in Kindergarten to Grade 3.

“The half-day language classes offer students an opportunity to build on their listening and speaking skills, in a fun learning environment,” said John Di Vizio, Principal of Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre.

Students strengthen their French language skills by playing games, listening to stories, and complete activity sheets, while building their confidence. Opening doors to opportunities and being willing to take risks and make mistakes is key to learning any language.
