Registration:

 Orientation is mandatory. You MUST attend one of the following orientation sessions and write the literacy exam. No appointment is necessary. Please bring Photo ID - Health Card or Driver Licence plus Birth Certificate and/or Permanent Resident or Citizenship Card.

Tuition:

Materials Fee:

 $625 (HST included) covers textbook, workbooks, workshops, First Aid/CPR, name badge and Ontario Long Term Care Association pin, Certificates in food handling, feeding, and Alzheimer's disease. Materials fee is due 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the course.

Deposit:

 $50 Cash, Visa, Master Card, Certified Cheque, Money Order, or Interac at time of registration (non-refundable) as part of the material fee.

Admission Requirements:

 19 years of age or older, written medical clearance from your doctor; Two Step TB Test, Flu Vaccination, clear Criminal Record/Vulnerability Check, a minimum score of 80% on the Literacy Test; successful personal interview, proof of Canadian citizenship/permanent residency.

Bridging Program with PSW Enhancement

Cost: $299.

Description: Personal Support Worker upgrading for those without 600 hours in their previous program and Personal Care Attendants who have completed up to Module 5 of the PSW Program.
